ayurvedic yoga massage therapy

I offer Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) therapy in Hoxton Square, and in Tottenham Hale (for those identifying as women/trans/non-binary only). I am trained by Despina Psarra since 2019, and work in the Hoxton therapy room since May 2024.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) was developed by Master Kusum Modak in Pune, India, after many years of studying traditional Ayurvedic massage and Iyengar yoga.

AYM treatments are deeply relaxing and nourishing, and can be as gentle or deep as appropriate for the client on the day. It generally involves oil massage with the hands and feet and gentle stretches and mobilisations. We begin with a consultation to tailor the treatment to your specific needs. AYM takes place on a futon on the ground, which adds to the grounding effect of the treatment, and allows you to completely relax and let go. We work just as much with the nervous system as with the soft tissues, including through long, slow breathing. It is usually a full body treatment, although this can be adapted to focus specifically on problem areas. This is an inclusive and body positive space, where I offer healing touch, nurturing presence and restorative, relaxing and effective treatments.

I offer 60/90/120min sessions, with 90 mins being the traditional recommended AYM treatment length. If you require a longer treatment please get in touch.

Regular treatments help to promote holistic health, physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. I offer packages for regular clients at my home studio.
